I had an amazing day on Friday out testing, getting me and the car ready and the setup prepared for the weekend.

On Saturday I went into qualifying with high hopes, aiming for a good lap to put me up the field, but sadly I ended up in the gravel trap at turn one after some problems with the brakes, meaning I didn’t complete a qualifying lap, which in turn meant I had to start the race in last position.

However, going into the race starting p25 I was hoping to make my way up the field, and it initially did turn out to be a very good race, gradually making my way up the field, eventually getting up to p12 before, unfortunately, the auxiliary belt snapped 5 minutes before the end, meaning I had to pull into the pits and my race was over.

Despite this, overall it was an amazing weekend of learning and finding pace and I can’t thank the team @proalloysracing enough, since they once again did a mega job all weekend.  I also want to extend a huge thank you to my awesome mechanic, Tyler Shannon, who was mega on the car all weekend too.

I can’t wait to be out again soon at Croft for the next round!
