What a hectic weekend of results and driving conditions!

Qualifying – p17

Qualifying was a bit of an odd one with the track being a bit damp, which brought a few challenges, and sadly having my fastest lap deleted due to track limits which would of put me in around 13th place. However, it is what it is and I was more than happy with 17th place and knew that I could build on this in the race.

Race one – p18

What an eventful race with some very good battles off the start – managing to get myself up to around 14th or 15th place battling with lots of drivers.  Unfortunately, towards the end I went for a move which saw me have some contact which sent me into a spin were I lost quite a few places, but I managed to get myself back going and finished the race 18th, only one place behind were I started, so I was very pleased with that and the progress I had during the race and knew to focus on all the positives that came out of it.

Race 2 – p11

Race two was horrendous with heavy rain so I knew it was just a case of trying to stay on the track and not make any mistakes.  I managed to survive the race pretty well apart from a bit of aquaplaning – which saw me take the escape road at one point, but I made it to the end which I was over the moon with considering my lack of experience in these cars in the wet.  I also achieved my best result so far this season, so I was more than happy!
