Here’s my race report for Round Four of the Milltek Sport Honda Civic Cup at Croft.

I’m delighted to report that I had very good weekend with lots of progress made and lots of pace found!

Qualifying – p15; p14

It was personally a really disappointing qualifying from me. After going out and feeling super confident in the car, I saw myself sitting in the top ten until a red flag came out and, sadly, as we went back out for the rest of the qually session, I couldn’t quite get the tyres back into the optimum performance window and so I saw myself drop down the order.

Saturday
Race 1- p15 > p14
Race 2- p14 > p16

It was a really disappointing day of races for me on Saturday, struggling with the car dropping out of Vtec through the corners, which made it hard keeping up in the races.

Sunday
Race 3 – p14 > p10

After resolving my Vtec issue over Saturday night, I was confident going into the last race on Sunday, and it was a very good race with some good battles, holding on to a large train of cars in front of me, which saw me finishing 10^th, which is my best ever finish and my first top ten! I had the pace to be fighting with the cars in front so lots of positives to take going forward.

I can’t thank all my sponsors enough for all they do for me and I can’t wait to get going again soon at Oulton Park where I aim to be fighting for that top ten more consistently.
