A bit of a later one, but here is my race report for Round Three of the Milltek Sport Honda Civic Cup at Silverstone National.

This was an up and down weekend with lots of pace shown and a few mistakes, but lots of good racing!

Qualifying- p11; p12

A great result in qually with my best ever result from qualifying!

Race 1 p11 > p17
Race 2 p17 > p17
Race 3 p12 > p13

After such a good qualifying a silly mistake from me on the start to race 1 saw me drop to p20, where I had to work my way back up the grid, ending up p17. Race 2 saw me start and stay the same position the whole race nursing two broken engine mounts, which severly affected the car’s performance.  However, with the mounts fixed for the last race. I got to finally display the pace I had and had some incredible battles throughout the race, ending up finishing p13!

Overall it was a good weekend, but I’m definitely kicking myself after my race one mistake.  However, that’s racing and I’m making progress at every meeting and getting ever so close to that top ten!
