A bit of a late one but here’s my race report for Round One of the Milltek Sport Honda Civic Cup at Donington Park National circuit.

It was a very good weekend to start the year with new surroundings and a new racing family. Friday was a very good day, getting to grips with the car again and tweaking bits on it to get the most out of it for the weekend to come.

Saturday came and qualifying didn’t really go to plan – ending up finishing qually after 3 laps due to a unfortunate problem on the car, meaning I didn’t really put in a competitive time.

Qualifying – 24th

Race one- 24th >19th

Race two – 19th > 15th

Overall it was a good first weekend to start the year and the season is only going to get stronger. I am hoping to move forward and I can see myself getting further up the grid going into Round Two at Brands Hatch Indy.
