I know this is a bit of a late one, but the first 2024 race weekend of the @civic_cup_official at Brands Hatch Indy is now complete!

After a positive day on Friday, getting used to my new build FN2 race car and getting it ready for qualifying and the three races, I went into Saturday and Sunday with a lot of confidence.

Qualifying = 18th
Race 1 = 14th
Race 2 = 15th
Race 3 = 17th

Going into race one, I was a bit nervous and not sure at all about how I would get on, but after the race got going, I quickly started to get into the flow, making some overtakes and enjoying some good battles, all of which resulted in me finishing the race with 4 places gained.

Race two saw me sadly start at the back of the grid in 23rd, so I knew I was going to have to push on to get a good finish. As the race got going, I got up to 15th before a red flag came out and then, when we got going again, I unfortunately got caught up in an accident that was unavoidable, which saw an end to my race but luckily still was a classified finish so I still finished the race in 15th.

After race two, the car had seen better days but the @proalloysracing team put in a mega effort to mend the car and make sure I could get out for race three, putting in a valiant effort. I really can’t thank them all enough for how they made race three possible for me.

Going in to race three, starting p14 ,it was a bit of a boring race with some good battles, but I just couldn’t get the performance from the car that I had from the earlier races, and so I ended up finishing in p17, which all in all, I was very happy with!

Overall it was a great weekend of learning and adapting to a new championship and new car and I can’t thank the @proalloysracing team enough. The entire team was mega all weekend long.  I also can’t thank all my sponsors enough for helping me stay out there on the track and I can’t wait to get back out in the car at Snetterton in May.
